The Persistence of Mount Savage
Cultural landscapes reflect spatial expressions of how societies perceive
nature over a period of time. Culture provides societies with alternatives
influenced by how nature is perceived in the regions that people have settled.
Given this idea, how does the present landscape of Mt. Savage, Md., reflect
cultural evolution of American society from the industrial Revolution to
the emerging informational revolution of the new millenium?
