• Get approval to present that topic

  • Need references (minimum two)

• Create a presentation with a small hand-out to be given out

  • Make in informative, interesting, and illustrative

  • Cite ALL references (minimum five)

  • When presenting your talk try not to read the slides

  • Use Powerpoint (MS), Impress (OpenOffice), HTML, or PDF - we have the ability to display these presentation formats; nothing else

• Grading

  • Plagiarism Quiz: 10 points

  • Topic (to be approved) and why you selected it: 20 points

  • Outline of your topic: 20 points

  • Presentation to class: 100 points which will be based off the following

    • Design of slides

      • Clarity

      • Graphics

      • Citation

    • Oral presentation
