Civic Engagement Activities, FALL  2009

Hello All and Welcome to Fall 2009 in the STEM Collegian Center!!

Again, this semester promises to be filled with opportunities for academic, professional, and personal development. We have planned a variety of activities to stimulate and inspire.  New events will be added as they are confirmed.

Three important early events require pre-registration.

Saturday, Sept. 19 we will visit the National Building Museum, a great event for engineering, technology and math students.

Friday, Sept. 25 the National Institutes of Health is holding it's first ever Community College Day which should prove very rewarding if you make the trip.

Saturday, Sept. 26 we will again visit the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy for their Open House.

Looking for great civic engagement (volunteer) opportunities?? Here are a few you may want to consider.
