Title: Office XP Brief Edition: A Tutorial to Accompany Peter Norton's Introduction To Computers, 4th Edition
Author: Peter Norton
Publisher: Glencoe/McGraw-Hill 2003
ISBN: 0-07-829789-3

Required Hardware:

This may sound ridiculous, but from my experience it is worth saying: You must have a computer in good working condition. If you are having any problems with your computer have it repaired before starting this course. If your computer is not working you are, from an online perspective, absent from class.

Required Software:

You must be connected to the Internet and have the browser Internet Explorer (Version 6 of Internet Explorer is recommended and can be downloaded from Windows Update)

SimNet Release 3 PageOut Edition is the software that will allow you to practice using Microsoft Office applications without actually having them installed on your computer. The SimNet software is included with your text book. In order to load and use SimNet you must have the following System Requirements:

1- Windows XP Professional or Home edition.
