Dear Online Student,

Welcome to XXXXXXXXXXX on the Web.  I hope you  find this course interesting and use this as an opportunity to acquire another skill for your portfolio.  Because of the nature of this course, it is important that you respect and honor your views as well as the views of your peers.

There is no required on-campus orientation; however, orientation is scheduled the evening of xxx.  Please check for specific times in xxx. Participation is strongly recommended.  All orientation materials are on the Internet. You should begin by reading the "Greeting" page, the "Survival Tips" page, and the "Syllabus" page.

Course Materials

You will be able to access course materials beginning XXX.

You will need a Username and Password to "Log In."

Username:
Your first initial and your last name, all in lower case letters.
For example, if your name were Jane Lawrence, your user name would be:     jlawrence

Password:   Your Social Security number (no spaces and no hyphens)
For example, if your social security number is 123-45-6789, then your initial
password is 123456789
 

Note:
You can change your password after you logon. Click on "Personal Information" in the Tools frame and then click on "Change Password."


    E-Mail Policy

    Please use the following guidelines when sending e-mail to me.

      1.  In the subject area, enter Course Title such as (MGT 266) and clearly identify the subject of your email.

       2. I will check my e-mail every business day (Monday through Friday).

       3. Homework assignments will be returned within ten days.

      Please send me an e-mail from the account that you will use for this course.  Send your e-mail to instructor@pgcc.edu I will create an e-mail list for the class.
