You should begin by reading this welcome page, the "Survival Tips" page, and the "Syllabus" for the course. All of the official information for the course will be in the Blackboard site for the class.
It is sometimes difficult to know if taking an online class is the right thing for you. If you have questions about your readiness to take an online class follow the link RightForMe
There will be an on-campus orientation and your participation is required. The orientation will be on Wednesday January 21 from 7pm-8pm. Information about the exact room will be mailed by the continuing ed department. Much of the orientation materials are on the Internet but a face to face meeting sometimes can cover many questions you might have in a timely fashion . You will also need to come onto campus five times throughout the semester for testing.
You can get the orientation materials and other relevant course information from my home page by clicking on the Math 221 Statistics button but keep in mind that the OFFICIAL information about the course is on the Blackboard site.
If you have any questions please e-mail me and I'll get back to you.
