I assign letter grades after I have graded the final exam and computed everyone's total average for the course. When I am teaching more than one section of the same course, I determine the grades based upon the performance of all the students in those sections. I turn in grades to the Records and Registration Office during final exam week. When exam week is over, the Records and Registration Office will mail a grade report to you. This report contains the grade you have earned for each course for which you are registered.
If you want to know how you did on the final exam, what your total average is, and what your final letter grade for this course is, then turn in a stamped self-addressed envelope with your exam. I will then mail you your final grade summary sheet.
