International Mentoring Association
The International Mentoring Association, housed at Western Michigan University, was established in 1988 in response to the growing need for an organized forum focusing on innovative mentoring ideas and practices. The Association, now a world wide organization, unites a broad cross-section of individuals interested in the theory and practice of effective mentoring. Every member brings a diverse and unique perspective from the various fields of mentoring that each represents. The association encourages membership from the following individuals and organizations:
- Mentoring program Coordinators
- K-12 and Higher Education
- Health and Human Services
- Community-based Organizations
