Lesson 9: Save/Save As Functions
Objective # 1 Save Function

The screen to the left shows how to Save your document.
nClick on File
nClick on Save under file menu
nChoose drive, folder, and name document
nClick on the save button
Subsequent saves overwrite old documents
Objective # 2 Save As Function
The screen to the left shows how to use the Save As command to save your document.
nClick on File
nClick on Save As under file menu
nChoose drive, folder, and name document
nClick on the save button
This function is used to create new versions of documents.  It will not overwrite old documents.
Objective # 3 Always Create Backup
The screen to the left shows how to use the Always Create a Backup Copy command to save your document.
nClick on Tools
nClick on options
nClick save tab
nChoose “Always create backup copy”
