Questions 1-10 Open the following file: Wrd1ExamDataA. Then answer the following questions and make necessary changes in the file.  Good luck.

 

1.      Use the Horizontal ruler to change the left margin to .5 inch, and the right to 5.5 inch.  (M)

2.      After the third sentence and before the fourth sentence, enter a hard return.  (E)

3.      Place your insertion point right above the word Rwanda in the first sentence and use the toggle switch (caps lock) and enter the word agriculture.  (E)

4.      Delete the text always women, in the last sentence.  (E)

5.      Change the file name to Rwanda Agriculture .  (M)

6.      Change the document from normal view to Page Layout View.  (E)

7.      Use spell check to correct the misspelled words in the file.  (D)

8.      Highlight severely in the last sentence and use the thesaurus to change the word to any synonym.  (M)

9.      Highlight first word of the first paragraph, Rwanda, and use the Bold toggle switch to change the entire word to bold.  (M)

10.  Save the document as “your initials Wrd1ExamAnswerA.doc” (ex. MRHWrd1ExamAnswerA.doc)(D)

14.  Type the following text into the file and watch the AutoCorrect fix the following errors: Windows 98 and Windows 2000 is the most used software on PC's.  (E)

15.  Select the word “connected” and use the thesaurus and change it with a synonym.  (M)

16.  Use spell check to correct any of the following errors.  (E)

17.  Enter a Hard Return in front of the beginning sentence.  (E)

18.  Place the insertion point right above the paragraph and type in the following text: Windows 2000.  (E)

19.  Highlight the text, which is above the paragraph that says Windows 2000, and toggle the Underline switch.  (M)

37.  Change the misspelled word in the 4th sentence by using spell check.  Choose the most appropriate correction.  (M)
