Inserting Graphics
We insert graphics to give your page a better appearance to the view.  It helps draw their attention in to your site.  There are many places to find graphics, as we will explain later.
Objective # 2 Other Purposes

If needed you can add text to the images to explain why the graphic is there.
Hot Spots are clickable images that can link you to other pages on your site.  Be sure to make the hot spots obvious to the user of your site.
Objective # 3 Drawbacks
JUST A WARNING
Problems you may encounter with graphics
Excessive pictures can make uploading your page much slower
Too many pictures can also take away from the focus of the websites
Objective # 4 Where to Get Graphics
There are many place to get graphics from
They include: Photographs from other websites, scanned and digital pictures, ClipArt on your PC, and Microsoft Media Gallery has many graphics to offer
Objective # 5 Thumbnails
A thumbnail is a small image than can be clicked and a larger version of the image will appear on a page by itself
FrontPage helps rotate and adjust the size of the image as needed
