Lesson #11: Create a FrontPage web page with different colored fonts and styles

Objective # 1 Opening a new web page

In lesson two you learned how to open FrontPage and the basic files involved when creating a web page.
With your FrontPage open go to the File Menu and click on New.  A smaller menu will pop-up and you must choose to either create a new page or a new web.  For this lesson we will create a new web page, click on New Page..
The new web page menu will pop-up and you are given many options for a new web page.
Chose the Normal Page option
At this point a blank web page will show up on your screen and you are set to create your own web page!
Objective # 2 Change the font style

Type a message on a blank line and highlight it.
Click on the format tab and then click on font.
Change the font to Courier and click ok.
Objective # 3 Change the size and color

Highlight your font and go back to the Format tab and click on font
Change your font to 36 pt.
Make your font color bright red
Select "Strong" and "Emphasis" on effects.
Objective # 4 Create a Marquee
Books Make You Smart!
Highlight your font and go to the insert tab.
Click on components and scroll down to marquee.
Your message should be at the top, change it to "Books Make You Smart!" and click OK.
Click preview on the bottom to check your marquee.
Objective # 5 Inserting a Picture into your Web Page
Books Make You Smart!
Click  Insert at the top of the screen and scroll down to where it says picture.
Scroll over and select Clip Art.
Choose the picture on your left by searching for books on the top right and insert the picture.
Objective # 6 Inserting Word Art
Books Make You Smart! Reading Is Great!
Click  Insert at the top of the screen and scroll down to where it says picture.
Scroll over and select Word Art.
Select the type of Word Art pictured to your left.
Write "Reading is Great!" and click OK
