Lesson #4: Sprucing Up Your Web Page
Main objectives: 
  • Changing Text Color
  • Changing Background Color
  • Adding Borders
  • Changing The Style
Objective # 1 Changing Background Color:
Highlight the cell or cells that you wish to change the Background color of by clicking and dragging over them. Then proceed to click on the menu bar under Format and a sub-menu will come down.  Hover down to where it says background and click there.  From there you may change the background color or put a picture in as the background.  You may also change the colors of the text, hyperlinks, visited hyperlinks and active hyperlinks from this menu.
Try highlighting a cell and changing the background color from white to black.
Objective # 2 Adding Borders:
Highlight the cell or cells that you wish to put a border around by clicking and dragging over them. Then proceed to click on the menu bar under Format and a sub-menu will come down.  Hover down to where it says Borders and Shading and click there.  From there you may insert a border as well as change the shading of the text.
Try inserting a dotted border around a cell now.
Objective # 3 Adding a Theme:
If you wish to change the theme of your page, click on the menu bar under Format, scroll down to where it says Theme and click.  From there you get a list of vivid themes to choose from that will help to spruce up your web page!
Try Changing your theme to Artsy.
