introduces and briefly explains what a relative cell reference is. A relative cell reference is a reference
found in a formula which changes automatically when copied to a different
cell. This automatic change is
relative to its new location ( relative to its new row and column). The screenshots demonstrate what happens
when the relative cell reference containing formula in Cell D2 is copied to
cell D3. The cell reference found in
the formula has changed from B2+C2 to B3+C3 automatically.
