Introduction to Nutrition is offered during a wide-variety of times and ways.  NTR 1010 is taught Monday through Saturday throughout the day and evening as both a face to face and on-line course and on all four PGCC campuses (Largo, Laurel College Center, Andrew's Air Force Base, and University Town Center).  There are many late-start sections as well.  My teaching schedule changes each semester so you can either send me an email or click on the PGCC Owl Link below to access the college's course schedule information.

You need one resource for this course.

The textbook we are currently using is Nutrition Concepts and Controversies, 12 edition, by Sizer and Whitney.

A hard copy of the 12th edition can be purchased at the PGCC bookstore www.pgccbookstore.com

Another cheaper option is to purchase the textbook as an e-book which means it is only available as an online text.  You can also purchase each individual chapter since we are not going to use all the chapters, it is also a cheaper alternative to do it that way.  Go to this website below and in the "search" box, type in the name of the textbook.  You will see all the options.

All of my course materials can be found at Blackboard, my course management system.  You will need to obtain a myPGCC account to log-on to Blackboard and you must be registered.
