Construction companies and contractors need people who are skilled in operating heavy equipment. Through a partnership with the Heavy Equipment Training Academy, Prince George’s Community College will be offering training in the operation of heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders and more. This program prepares students to operate compact and heavy equipment for land clearing, demolition, culvert and pond building, ditch excavation for utilities, pipe laying and road building.
