Completes Comprehensive Self-Study Read the Results Here
The college has
completed a comprehensive self-study as part of the 10-year
reaccreditation process. The self-study examined the entire institution
in terms of fourteen Standards that Middle States uses to define
characteristics of excellence in higher education. Middle States is the
college's accrediting agency.
After nearly two years
of research on the part of 180 faculty, staff, administrators and
students, the Self-Study Report has been completed and is presented
here.

Middle
States Reaffirms College's
Accreditation
On June 22, 2005, after reviewing the college's self-study and
receiving the report of the Evaluation Team that visited the college,
the Middle States Commission on Higher Education reaffirmed the
accreditation of Prince George's Community College. A progress letter
from the college is due April 1, 2007, documenting progress in
clarifying and strengthening the shared governance structure. The
Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2010, and the next self-study
will be in 2015.
