Can my class use the SAS Testing center?
Tests administered by Student Assessment Services for Prince George's Community College faculty must be for courses associated with one of the following academic areas or instructional formats:

Rules for instructors
- Testing periods should not end on Friday or Saturday, except for Hybrid, Online and Weekend courses.
- Midterm and Final examinations are NOT permitted, except for Online and Weekend courses.
- Open-book examinations are NOT permitted.
- Deliver your tests to the SAS center the day before testing is scheduled to begin or earlier.
- For paper exams, deliver enough test copies and/or scantrons to accommodate the number of students in your class(es).
- For online exams, carefully print or type the password with exact spelling, capitalization and spacing.
- Please print the instructor's name on each test.
- Make sure all information you supply to us is accurate and complete.
Please inform your students of the rules regarding student usage of the SAS Testing Center.
Please understand that the Testing Center cannot guarantee a satisfactory experience for students taking online exams. Please leave updated contact information with the Center and ensure a backup plan in case students encounter computer-related difficulties. While most students are successful, enough aren't that precautions are necessary.
Saturday hours effective only during Fall, Spring, and Summer Sessions. During periods between semesters, the SAS Center follows Summer Session (Monday through Friday) hours of operation, but is closed on Saturdays.
Students may NOT begin a test within 30 minutes of the posted closing time.

During breaks between semesters, Student Assessment Services observes Summer Session hours of operation, with the exception of being closed on Saturdays.
