PRISM I was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation, Division of Undergraduate Education. Twenty-four (24) psychology faculty from two-year or small four-year colleges met at Prince George’s Community College, Largo, MD, just outside the Washington Beltway, on May 19-22, 1997

Faculty participated in work-shops on the college campus and at the University of Maryland College Park. After the completion of the Institute, small faculty groups continued working together at a distance on modules for use in teaching general psychology. These modules are being presented here.
