As an assistant professor at PGCC, I bring an interest in whole foods nutrition, cooking, and nutrition policy into my courses. Before joining the PGCC nutrition team, I worked in renal nutrition, clinical nutrition, nutrition policy, and sales. I believe that nutrition education should combine science, food, and current events...and most importantly, should be FUN!

I teach NTR 1010 and 1100 both online and face to face. I’ve been a full-time faculty member at Prince George’s Community College since 1998. I presently serve as the course coordinator of the nutrition and food science program. My area of specialty is international nutrition, weight management, food safety and childhood nutrition.

I teach NTR 1010: Introduction to Nutrition. I've been a faculty member here at Prince George's Community College since 1999. I bring over 20 years of experience as nutrition professional. In addition to teaching, I have worked as a consultant with the food and beverage industries, professional sport teams, health clubs, major medical centers and universities. My professional expertise includes minority health issues and sports nutrition.
