MAT 243 - Calculus III for Science and Engineering
4 credit hours
MAT 243 includes vector calculus, multiple integration, and partial derivatives. This is the third course in a three-semester sequence of university level calculus for science, engineering and mathematics majors. This third semester covers vectors and the geometry of space, vector valued functions and motion in space, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, and integration in vector fields. There will be usage of MATLAB software and Graphing Calculator. Prerequisite: a “C” or higher in MAT 242.
