RETIREMENT LIFE STRATEGIES LECTURE DELIVERED TO FULL HOUSE

by Angela Rabatin, Business Management

To get the word out about local scholars and their work, Dr. Beverly Reed coordinates the college's "Cafe for the Mind" program, a collaboration between PGCC and the Prince George's County Memorial Library System.

Through lectures on varied topics in the fall and spring semesters, Reed said, the program aims to demonstrate to county residents the "intellectual depth and scholarship" of community college faculty and county librarians.

On March 18, Dr. Angela Rabatin delivered a presentation to a packed audience on Retirement Life Strategies. Tools for planning and experiencing a successful retirement were provided to a very interested and participatory audience in the Largo Student Center.
