CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Prince George's Community College has offered construction
management courses for 20 years. The program was developed by the college and
leaders in the industry to develop badly needed construction management talent.
Courses are held in the evening at our Largo site (Main Campus) and at the
Laurel College Center. The instructors are construction professionals who
work in the field every day. Courses are available for credit, for degree
seeking students, or non-credit students simply interested in obtaining
additional skills.
The college offers an information seminar each semester for
those individuals who are considering a career in this industry. The
college now offers 3 levels of training in Construction Management,
they consist of:
 |
Individual courses |
 |
Certificate Program (7 courses, 21 credits) |
 |
Associate in Applied Science (AAS degree, 21 courses, 63 credits) |
These are evening classes meant to fit into the schedule of the working
person. For a listing of course requirements for the AAS degree, please click

All construction classes, except (Construction Math and Build Your Own House)
are offered on a credit or non-credit basis (students sit side by side with the
