QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNOLOGY

Associate of Applied Science Degree

 

This curriculum was developed with the expert assistance of the  American Society for Quality (ASQ)   and incorporates the “body of knowledge” for ASQ professional certifications. Taught by ASQ certified professionals, the program includes extensive study of the ISO900:2000 International quality standards and Six Sigma quality analysis/management. This program is endorsed by Section 509 (Wash DC) of the ASQ, and serves as preparation for a career as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Inspector, or Manager.

The program comprehensively studies  the "bodies of knowledge" for ASQ Certifications such as:  Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), Quality Manager (CQM), Reliability Engineer (CRE), Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), and Quality Technician (CQT). PG College is a contributory to the ASQ Section 509 Education Committee and is forming an ASQ student chapter.

A student matriculated in this program is eligible for the ASQ sponsored scholarship as well as the NASA GCA scholarship.
