Attacks upon WLAN security
unauthorized “eavesdropping” using “sniffers” to gather SSIDs, MAC addresses, WEP
intrusion to alter “hack” files, configurations, or inject viruses using info gained from
high-powered RF signals/WB that interferes/blocks WLAN communication. Bluetooth
WLANs jams 802.11b WLANs
“hijack” stations by capturing clients using a high power signal (high gain
antenna) and info gained from passive attack.
