*To be accepted into Law School, the cumulative grade point average (GPA) for the bachelor’s degree should be a 3.0 minimum.  The LSAT (examination) score must usually be 150 or better.

The core skills and values that are essential for competent lawyering include:  (1) analytic and problem-solving skills; (2) critical reading abilities; (3) writing skills; (4) oral communication and listening abilities; (5) general research skills; (6) task organization and management skills; and (7) the values of serving faithfully the interests of others while also promoting justice.  Individuals intending to prepare adequately for legal education and for a career in law or for any other professional service that involves the use of lawyering skills should seek educational, extracurricular, and life experiences to assist in developing such attributes.
