James Courtwright, B.A., M.S.H.P., RRT, began his career in respiratory therapy in the military, in 1975. Besides bringing experience in all aspects of respiratory care, he served as an instructor with the Respiratory Specialist Program for the US Army for seven years, and was the enlisted consultant to the US Army Surgeon General for respiratory therapy for two years. He has been an adjunct instructor with Prince George’s Community College R.T. program since 1993, and Director of Clinical Education and full time instructor since 1998. He became Program Director in August 2003.
