Admissions Information
To be admitted to this health technology program, the student must:
- Submit completed application materials, including official transcripts of all previous college study, to the Admissions and Records Office, Bladen Hall Room 126, (301) 322-0866.
- Submit a completed petition for admission to a health technology program to the Admissions and Records Office.
- Schedule and complete the appropriate Placement Tests. Contact the Testing Center, Bladen Hall, (301) 322-0147.
- Consult with a health technology advisor before proceding with course registration. (Bladen Hall Room 124, 3-1-322-0725/0151)

Admission to all health technology programs is competitive and proper academic advisement is essential for success. There are both technical and academic standards for admission. Be sure to consult with your counselor throughout the application process. More information about special admission criteria can be found in the college catalog.

The Dr. James Parker Scholarship provides partial scholarships to qualified students. The number and amount awarded vary from year to year. More information and applications are available in the Financial Aid Office, Bladen Hall Room 133.

The Nuclear Medicine Technology Program leads to a certificate or an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.). All prerequisite courses require a grade of "C" or above.
