Muriel H. Adams, RHIA, CCS, is the Director for the Health Information Technology and Medical Coder/Billing Specialist programs. Ms. Adams brings a wealth of experience, having served as Assistant Director and Director of Health Information Management departments in various hospitals and health maintenance organizations. She has also been a consultant for HIM education. Ms. Adams has been with Prince George's Community College since 1989. She is active in her professional organization, having served as President of the District of Columbia Health Information Management Association, as well as chair of various professional committees.
