To be admitted to this health technology program, the student must:
Submit completed application materials, including official transcripts of all previous college study, to the Admissions and Records Office, Bladen 168, (301) 322-0866.
Complete the College's Placement Test. The test is required of all first time students. Contact the Testing Center, Bladen 100, (301) 322-0147. The test may be waived for applicants who previously earned college credit in English composition and mathematics or who have achieved satisfactory scores on acceptable standardized tests (e.g., SAT, ACT).
Consult with an advisor before proceeding with course registration (TS Building), (301) 322-0150 or (301) 322-0151).
File a completed Petition for Admission to a Health Technology Program form to the Admissions and Records Office.

Admission to all health technology programs is competitive and proper academic advisement is essential for success. There are both technical and academic standards for admission. Be sure to consult with your advisor throughout the application process.
Scholarships are offered through professional associations and the college. Information on college scholarships is available through the Financial Aid Office. Each of the courses in a semester are prerequisite to the next semester. Students should check the college catalog (course descriptions) to identify other prerequisites and co-requisites for each course. The program may be completed on a part-time basis.
