Muriel H. Adams, RHIA, CCS, is the Director for the Health Information Management and Medical Coder/Billing Specialist programs. Ms. Adams brings a wealth of experience, having served as an education consultant, a speaker for nationally held workshops, and various management positions in hospitals, health maintenance organizations and consulting companies. Ms. Adams has been on the faculty of Prince George's Community College since 1989. She is active in her national and state professional organizations. She has held positions as chair of professional committees, delegate, served as President of the District of Columbia Health Information Management Association and been a speaker at both state and national professional meetings.
