The
Prisoner's Dilemma is a classic social psychology topic in which
cooperation and competition are studied. It has been conducted in a
variety of settings and with a variety of populations. The summer of 2000
saw a modern version in the television show Survivor in which the
decision making abilities of the participants were examined by millions of
viewers. This site allows students to play the Prisoner's Dilemma and find
out how they make decisions.

Another classic experiment in social psychology which fascinates students
in the Stanford Prison experiment. This site is not truly interactive
since students do not play the game but it contains a slide show and
discussion by the researcher who conducted the original experiment, Dr.
Philip Zimbardo.
