http://server.bmod.athabascau.ca/html/prtut/reinpair.htm
This site from Athabasca
University in Canada gives students an excellent tutorial in
reinforcement, one of the most difficult concepts in all of psychology for
many students to grasp. The tutorial takes students about 1.5 hours to
complete which limits its usefulness as an in-class activity. It is useful
as an out-of-class assignment, especially for students who struggle with
these concepts or for online courses. The site begins with a concise
explanation of reinforcement. Explanations of various components of
reinforcement follow. Each concept is illustrated by an application
example. The "lecture" part of the site is followed by an interactive quiz
which students complete online. The quiz comes in both frame-enabled and
non-frame-enabled formats.
