http://www.mindtools.com/memory.html
This site is a commercial site that nonetheless has
a wealth of activities and information that is helpful for students and
teachers of psychology. Since it is a commercial site, there are items for
sale and there are some advertisements. In this part of the site there are
many articles about memory which can supplement the text. There are also
explanations of various techniques for improving memory. One of the most
useful pages for students deals with mnemonics and the creation of
mnemonics. Students can create mnemonics and gain an understanding of this
memory-improvement technique.

http://www.brain.com/
This site contains many quizzes, tests and games related to cognition and
intelligence. There are also some discussions about the topics available.
One of the quickest quizzes is a five minute intelligence quiz which gives
students an IQ score. The test is useful for discussions of intelligence
as well as discussions of testing. Be aware that this is a commercial
site, though, and there are many products for sale. You will need to
scroll down on the left bar to the intelligence tests.

http://www2.uic.edu/~syamad1/ch-game/moves.html
This site gives students a chance to play a problem
solving game involving Calvin and Hobbes. Created by Northwestern
University psychology students, the game is a traditional problem-solving
task in which you must move "pieces" from one side of a river to the other
with a number of limitations. The game is enjoyable even for those who are
not Calvin and Hobbes fans.
